Printing Joy

A Mini Print Vending Machine Trail
Summer 2026

A project to spread affordable handmade art, smiles, and fundraise for MNDA.

Vending machines hold a special place in most people’s hearts: the nostalgia of childhood, winning toys or stickers, but often, as children, unable to afford to partake. The mini print vending machine trail is made for both adults and kids, offering the same exciting gamble of vending machines, but receiving a small piece of handmade art to take home with them. I have ten machines that are slowly finding their homes, and each location has its own mini collection of art, and you receive a mystery piece of original art for only a pound.

I want to spread joy through affordable art, and especially with the rising tidal wave of AI, having something that is handmade feels tangible and human.  Making my art entirely by hand, through screen printing, makes me feel hopeful.

This project will also help raise funds for MNDA, with 30% of purchases donated, thanks to the support of my Sponsor. I am unlikely to make a profit on this project; in fact, it likely won’t even cover my labour costs, but creating Joy and Smiles right now feels more important.
